How I met spring in my dream city

Somehow it feels a bit strange to be in Barcelona without sun and so far from +35. - I thought when landed in Barcelona on the 1st of March. It was even sad to leave swim suit at home in a very last case of weardrobe. But well, this time I came here with serious purpose. So no sun / no fun / no cocktails / no boys.

For the fact that I am successfully accepted by EAE Business School in Barcelona to study master in marketing and sales management (for what I am extremelly happy and very excited!), I decided to come to Barca to do a little research about university / spanish courses/ job / accomodation / and general life.

Here are just few details I noticed, liked and smiled at during my stay in my dream city.
  • One morning I was having cafe in one place with a group of old but very elegant woman sitting next to me. I was following them with a smile on my face - they were enjoying the life as some of my age people already don’t. After they kissed each other and said hasta manana, I understood that it is probably something like daily ritual for them to meet in a café for a little espresso and memories reborn. And while I am still young, beautiful and making memories in my life, they are already just beautiful now and recalling memories from the past. And so this is life. With all its beauty inside!
  • After one successful visit in EAE and nice time with my old friend from Barcelona, I took quite long way to go back home, but I was sooo happy! I was passing the shiny Gran via de les corts Catalanes – full of lights from cars, shops, cafés, bars, people’s eyes, joy..! And then I again truly felt real lively life of Barcelona! Which was the reason why I was walking, smiling and singing. And which was the thing that I usually miss in my home city.
  • I found out that it is actually possible to spend evening in a restaurant just with yourself, glass of wine, good music and a book. That cames up when on Monday I decided to visit Alsur café, where was a tribute to American singer Billie Holiday. Relaxing music, good wine, and cozy atmosphere with a rain outside made me strangely enjoy the moment of loneliness
And final resume - there is still no better place than Barcelona to live in Europe!

Hasta pronto, amigos!
