Strawberry from childhood

While living abroad one of the most precious moment is when your people are visiting you. By saying your people I mean simply the ones with whom you grew up together. Who are your best friends no matter what. Cause best friends are formed by time that leads all to a mature friendship.

Say hi to Goda. My bestie from my home town. We met at my aunt's summer house when we both were around 4 years old. I am still sure that back then she was just about to steal my aunt's strawberries from the garden.

Now when we meet we never drink champagne without fresh strawberries.

Champagne por tout le monde!

Blue and white

One more flash back to my summer time. My holiday in Porto city in Portugal.

One of the most impressive buildings - Capela das Almas. I couldn't resist not to sneak some pictures of this amazing church, all decorated with blue and white tiles. Which all together mingle in a stunning solid picture. I really love it!

Buildings decorated with colorful tiles is the main feature of Porto city architecture.

Pavilion Mies van der Rohe

If not my dutch friend, who is freshly graduated architect, I wouldn't have an idea to visit this house. And if not his brief explanation why is it so impressive, for me it would be just a plain, a little bit empty modern house. But you don't really have to understand architecture from deep perspective to get the point why this house became so popular.

For me it was quite enough to know that this house first time was built in 1929 for International exposition in Barcelona. Try to imagine back then normally most of the houses were made of wood and stones! Now it makes sense and seems worth to visit. It really looks so modern and so nowadays building with continuous space blurring inside and outside.

Check out some pic from my visit there. (The second one is taken from here)

Some little changes

Please meet me with my very new straight hair! After 25 years having ginger curls, I decided to go straight. I really love my new look even though curls are very precious for me and this is actually a gift from my beloved grandmother. Not to panic too much - my straight hair is just temporary change and curls are not gone at all.

Pictures were taken by Anouk in Port of Barcelona while having lazy Sunday walk.
